Hoivakoti Nursing Home
Hoivakoti is a 110-bed Long Term Care Home with private, semi-private and standard accommodation, and two respite beds in four resident home areas, designed to meet the needs of all residents.
Finlandiakoti Residence
A 90-unit apartment building for independent seniors. Apartments are available on a tenant rental basis , including market and geared-to-income (subsidy). One and two bedroom units are available.
Majatalo
Majatalo was built in the style of a typical Finnish home. It is a shared seniors' supportive housing accommodation, providing support to four senior suites on the main floor. The upper floor features a four-suite visitor/family accommodation setting.
Palvelukoti
A 46-unit unit supportive housing apartment building for seniors who require support services to maintain independence. A supportive housing care plan is offered for a fee to residents. The Main Office is also located in this building.
Rivitalo Townhouses
Rivitalo is a 31-unit Life Lease townhouse project for independent seniors. Units consist of two and three bedroom units with attached garage and patios. Residents live independently with some support services offered upon request. Prices are determined by market value.
Lepokoti Assisted Living Residence
The newest building in the 'continuum of care', Lepokoti features 82 , one and two-bedroom assisted living apartments, resident dining room, 300-person multi-purpose room (available for rent to community groups) and the Oliver G. Korpela Wellness Centre.

Finlandia Village Information Sessions are held the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Voima Hall, with the exception of the months of July, August and December.
NOTE: Visitors to these sessions MUST register their name, telephone number and number of persons with the front desk.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Sudbury Finnish Rest Home Society I am very pleased to welcome you to this website and to invite you take your very own virtual tour of Finlandia Village. Our organization was founded in 1982 with a goal to provide for the housing and care requirements of aging immigrant Finns. Over 30 years the Society through the hard work and determination of our members and employees (SISU as we term it) and through partnerships with government and government agencies has developed and now operates six unique housing projects which comprise our Village…home to over 400 residents from a variety of ethnic backgrounds who are able to live in a safe and secure environment and receive care according to their individual needs.
